Helping themselves to every cask on Speyside, the Angels get a bad name. So for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, and with a nod to Geo-Caching, we at Angels’ Nectar Blended Malt Scotch Whisky have decided to try and help them make amends by giving something back.
So on behalf of the Angels, we will be laying a trail of Angels’ Nectar Whisky Caches across Speyside, with a series of clues to find them during the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. The first to find each Angels’ Nectar Whisky Cache will find one of our 200ml bottles of Angels’ Nectar Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, perfect for sharing.
‘Blended by Angels’ from a selection of Speyside and Highland Malts, Angels’ Nectar is bottled at natural colour with a sweet nose of apple pie and a taste of heather honey and lemon.
Whilst there is no charge to take part, we ask that if you take anything from the Angels’ Nectar Whisky Caches, do please leave a whisky miniature (or better!) in its place. This way everyone who finds an Angels’ Nectar Whisky Cache will be a winner.
The first step: please register by clicking ‘Buy Tickets’ to be amongst the first to receive our clues.

During your time inside the distillery Colin will explain, in depth, what it takes to run a fully manual distillery. You will have the opportunity to take samples from each stage of the process and to understand how those stages can influence the new make character. You will also have the chance to spend time with and talk to Ian and David about their time and experiences in the industry.
Your morning with Colin will come to an end as he oversees you filling some of the weeks production into casks.
To conclude, you will be served drams in the Family Room, including whisky from the private casks of Cragganmore owned by the Macpherson-Grant family.
This is the most detailed tour we offer and is an opportunity to see why we were awarded the Icons of Whisky Craft Producer of the Year 2016 and again in 2018.

In May 1988, a young(ish) Fred MacAulay made his stand-up debut at the Mayfest ‘So You Think You’re Funny” competition. Much of what Fred talked about that night was about his (very) young family coupled with his wry observations about society and politics. His observations have led him to success on television and radio, in such shows as QI, Have I Got News For You and Mock The Week To celebrate his 30 years of stand-up, Fred is back touring. His 2017 stand-up shows were legendary and in many reviews the shows were described simply as “A Masterclass”.
