  • The River Findhorn Heritage Centre provides a wealth of information about life around the River Findhorn and, in particular, the legend of Randolph’s Leap and that of the Wolf of Badenoch who lived for some years in the Lochindorb castle.

The exhibition, which opened in 2003, is divided into three parts.

The first part is about the river: based around a mural depicting the change in terrain, bridges etc. with illustrated stories from Thomas Dick Lauder’s Moray Floods and other river tales. There is also information on the unusual geological formations at Randolph’s Leap.

The second part explores the tales of Wolf of Badenoch, Randolph’s Leap, and Sir Alexander Grant, who lived at Logie House at the beginning of the 20th century.
